Saunas

Pampering sauna sessions

Perfect rest and relaxation is ensured in the spa by a nationally unique sauna park with 10 saunas (Finnish, aromatherapy, infrared, bio, Russian, salt cabin) and 1 steam cabin, as well as the associated relaxation pool area. In addition to the saunas, a splash pool, a Kneipp pool, and a slush bath is also available. Trained sauna masters ensure the pampering of guests and professional sauna experience through regular sauna programs.

Types of saunas in the Sauna World:

  • Finnish sauna (10.6 m2)

Low humidity makes its unusually high temperature of 70-100 ℃ easily tolerable. Our body always strives to maintain balance, so it responds to hot and dry air with intense sweating. The evaporation of sweat cools the skin and does not allow it to overheat. After the hot air, you can cool your body in the splashing pool in cold water or with the icicles of the slush bath, and then you can repeat this for as long as you like. Alternating hot and cold air detoxifies the body through increased sweating. Increasingly frequent stress effects can also be eliminated or reduced through regular sauna use.

  • Infrared sauna (4.67 m2)

The operating temperature of the infrared sauna is 50-60 ℃, therefore it does not exhaust the body so much, because the infrared radiators directly heat the body and not the air, so by reaching the deeper layers of the skin, more intense sweating occurs in a shorter time.
Areas of application: removal of toxins, fat burning and weight control, stress reduction, increasing energy levels, slowing down the aging process, skin renewal effect, beauty care, pain relief, circulatory system training, sports, disease prevention, healing.

  • Aromatherapy sauna (12.2 m2)

The effect of the aromatherapy Finnish sauna is enhanced by the use of essential oils from herbal aromas. In addition to their soothing, relaxing or invigorating effect, they are excellent for purification and blood circulation stimulation. The inhaling of fragrant essential oils in the steam enriched with aroma oils ensures a pleasant feeling of well-being.

  • Steam bath (21.41 m2)

The steam bath can be enjoyed in a steam chamber with a temperature of 35-40 °C and high water vapor content. As a result, the pores of the skin dilate and clear, the separation of the sebaceous glands intensifies, the blood circulation becomes more lively, the muscles relax, and the mucous membrane of the airways dissolves.
In the steam bath, strong sweating appears in a short time and the sweat cannot evaporate due to the high humidity, therefore heat congestion occurs. This is a great strain on the heart and blood circulation, so even those who are completely healthy can stay for only 10-15 minutes, and those who are ill can only use it based on medical instructions. The body heated in the steam bath should be gradually cooled in a lukewarm and then cool bath, followed by a rest of at least 30 minutes.
